PATRICIA SEBOLD, Freeholder Vice President, of Livingston was appointed to complete an unexpired term in April 1993, and then elected to her first full term in November of that year. She was re-elected as a Freeholder At-Large in 1996, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2011. She is currently serving as Freeholder Vice President, a position she held six previous occasions in 1996, 2003-2006 and 2011. Freeholder Sebold taught English at West Orange H. S. from 1970 until her retirement in 2001 and served on the Essex County Vocational Schools Board of Education. She also served as a Commissioner on the Essex County Board of Elections, has been chairperson of the Livingston Democratic Municipal Committee since 1976, and has attended every Democratic National Convention as a delegate or committee member since 1980, except two. She is a member of the League of Women Voters, Sierra Club, Newark Museum, Jewish Historical Society of New Jersey, and the Boards of Trustees of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ, its Community Relations Committee, and the Jewish Community Housing Corporation. Freeholder Sebold earned her degree in English and Education from Upsala College.
