The Department of Economic Development, Training and Employment is comprised of the Division of Training and Employment, One-Stop Career Center, Workforce Investment Board, and the Division of Housing and Community Development. The Division of Training and Employment, Workforce Investment Board and the One-Stop Career Center are located at 50 South Clinton Street in East Orange, New Jersey. These programs provide essential case management services, education and training opportunities, workforce planning and development, and job placement assistance. The Division of Housing and Community Development is located in the historic Essex County Kip’s Castle Park in Verona, New Jersey and offers a wide range of economic development services to various towns and municipalities, First Time Homebuyer Program, Home Improvement Program (HIP) and capital improvement assistance to shelters.
